Creating Jobs
Northern Nevadan needs jobs now. Creating jobs was our number one priority this past legislative session, and we passed several pieces of legislation to do that. For instance, I was proud to work on the School Works bill, which gained support from members of both parties in the legislature, as well as the governor. This bill made $75 million available for school construction in Washoe County alone, all without costing taxpayers a dime. [Click here for more]
Improving Education
I want Nevada schools to lead the country in providing quality education to our children. Strong schools not only give our children a better future, they also help create jobs in our local economy: businesses will start up, choose to expand, or move to places where they can hire well-educated workers. With hard work and bipartisan cooperation, Nevada can be a place like that. Making Government More Efficient

Ensuring that taxpayers' money is spent in the most efficient and effective way possible is one of my top priorities - they're my tax dollars too!
